Shredder Risk Assessment
Please bring a form of ID with you when you come to collect.
Always unplug the shredder from the electric outlet after using it. Also before removing covers, cleaning, lubricating or when making any other servicing adjustments mentioned in the instruction manual.
Items with potential to tangle e.g. fingers, scarves, hair and jewellery should be kept away from any drawing-in equipment
Never put fingers or objects other than paper (i.e., paper clips or staples) into the shredder feed opening.
Do not allow it to be used as a toy.
Use this shredder only for its intended use.
Never operate this shredder if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return to the LoT for examination.
Keep fingers away from all moving parts.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Do not use the machine if it is wet.
Only use item for their designed purpose.
Keep item away from children, and do not let other people use them. The item was lent to you, on the premise it is used only by you and is your responsibility.
Always make sure the item is stored and/or transported in a safe manner.
Never use the item under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any prescribed medication that impairs your functioning.

By completing the Rental Transaction you’re implying that you have read, understood and accepted the risks listed.
Therefore you understand the risks involved in using this Paper Shredder and will return it in as good condition as it was taken.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Feed paper smoothly into the shredder.
Never force paper into a shredder.
Maximum 5 pages at a time.
Remove staples before shredding.
